SINGLE GOURMET DALLAS - FORT WORTH
ANNOUNCES DEBUT

The Single Gourmet Dallas-Fort Worth will hold its premiere event on Wednesday, January 9, 2002, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This new singles organization will make an elegant debut with a cocktail party at the elegantly appointed Nana, located on the 27th floor of the Wyndham Anatole Hotel, 2201 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.

A new concept to the Metroplex, Single Gourmet is a members-only national organization that offers culinary events for single professionals in their 30s to 60s. The new Dallas-Fort Worth chapter will offer about four events monthly, including dinner parties at the Metroplex's finest restaurants, elegant wine tastings and cocktail parties, cooking classes, tours, trips as well as events featuring special guests.

Executive Director Ed Bamberger explains why he decided to bring Single Gourmet to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. "I felt there was a void in options available to singles here," he says. "This group offers something unique to area singles, a venue where they can meet with a group to enjoy exceptional experiences they likely wouldn't have on their own."

Bamberger stressed the idea of creating a welcoming environment. All members are greeted upon arrival and introduced to others. "This way, people don't have to be intimidated about going alone," he continues. Single Gourmet provides a venue for singles to gather and share a passion for food and wine while making friends, networking and meeting prospective dates. "It gives me great pleasure to make a difference in the Metroplex social scene," he adds.

Reservations for this premiere event are requested. RSVPs can be accepted from the website home page, www.singlegourmetdfw.com or by phoning (972) 732-8000.
